Our Rosso del Molise DOC "Antico Podere" wine comes from the oldest family vineyard. It is characterized by the ripeness of the fruit and a light spiciness. At sight, it resembles a precious ruby and shares elegance and preciousness with it. The refinement process takes place in steel and partly in French oak barrels and then remains in the bottle for 8 months before consumption. If it were a story it would be a biography: direct and engaging.
A wine that at first glance shows us its makings, maturity in terms of colours, and a direct nose of ripe fruit and spices. The dry and enveloping mouth masterfully balances tannin and freshness to make the taste long and harmonious.

Once the maceration is finished, which varies from 9 to 12 days, the racking is carried out.
Malolactic fermentation and refinement: After racking, the wine is decanted and undergoes malolactic fermentation. The latter lasts about 10 days and takes place at a temperature of 20°C. Antico Podere is aged in 500 liter first and second passage oak barrels; before being released for consumption it spends at least 8 months in the bottle.
